Maria & Bobby… wow can this family throw a wedding together in a hurry!  Plans for a  destination wedding were set in motion a while ago, but in December but plans had changed and they decided to have it here in January. So in less than two months they got this shin-dig rolling for 200 guests and it was beautiful!  We met up with Maria at her sisters house in Addison IL for all the primpin and preppin & then headed to the Belvedere Banquets & Events Hall .

The ceremony was held there in one room and the reception was in the next room, really convenient for all!  It definitely kept me on my toes since it was not the typical “flow” of a wedding day. The whole thing was simple yet elegant.  Congratulations Maria & Bobby!  Here are just a few of my favorites to tell the story of the day…

HOME EMAIL

I worked with Millie Wong from Chicago on this one and I think we logged more miles than a truck driver this day!  This was definitely a good time to have two photographers on hand to cover different locations.

I met up with Michael and the crew at the Hotel room for some “pre-game” shots while Mille hung out with the girls.  These guys were a ton of fun and had a great time hanging out with them all day.  From the hotel in Oak Brook we traveled to a nice catholic church near Midway Airport.  They chose this church as that was where her parents were married.   Awwwwe .  Once done there Millie went with them in the limo to a few locations and I headed Back to the hotel for the cocktail hour and to set up for the reception.  Wow what a lively bunch all the guest were!  Inside the reception area was amazing! Very elegant!  So much so I cleared the few people in there setting up so I could birds eye shot of the whole room.  enter: camera on a loooong stick!

A  Halloween wedding…defiantly NOT of the scary kind!  The wedding was held in Moline Il at the King of Christ with the reception in Bettendorf IA. We had a great day for weather, a little chilly but it was almost November after all…
